The Nike Dunk Low GS “Spartan Green” is the youth sizing of the college basketball inspired colorway of the retro basketball shoe. The “Spartan Green” recruits the team uniform colors of the Michigan State Spartans basketball team for yet another popular Dunk style inspired by colorways that appeared in Nike’s “Be True to Your School” collection of 1985. The June 2021 release is a sequel to the “Spartan Green” colorway that was originally released on the Nike Dunk Low in 2008. Like the aforementioned iteration of the shoe, the modern edition features white leather on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel, collar, and heel. Contrasting Spartan Green leather panels and Swoosh detailing breaks up the look on the upper. White “Nike” branding is embroidered on the back of the shoe and Spartan Green “Nike” and Swoosh detailing is printed on the white nylon tongue tag. Green laces are layered over the white nylon tongue. A white rubber midsole and Spartan Green outsole complete the look. Release date: June 3, 2021
